Searching for something to be passionate about is not an easy task. In midst of this search, sometimes we find what makes our life feel complete. I firmly believe that I did not find dance, dance found me.

Dancing gives me exciting challenges to overcome and a personal retreat to run to during times of chaos. Each day I start with a clean slate, not knowing what I will experience. Studio settings bring forth a sensation of joy, determination and eagerness; troubles that once existed disappear immediately after the music starts or the first combination is taught.

As an artist, I strive to change how both dancers and the general population view and understand dance primarily through teaching and writing. By incorporating dance knowledge, terminology and descriptive dialogue, I am able to reveal a realistic view of the performing arts to my readers and students by focusing on the basics, exposing artistry in its purest forms.
